Besides missing friends and family there are some smaller things that I miss.
Sunsets and Sunrises
I have some of the greatest views from my desks for sunset and sun rises in Maine and now I am surrounded by buildings. First one is a sunset and second one is a sunrise.
Smocking Laws
I have always been told that Maine has some of the strictest smoking laws. Here I feel like there is none. I have to play race with some one if there smocking to just get up wind from them to only find out that some one else is smocking.
Local Politics
As a politics major I am obsessed with politics but being so far away I have no idea of whats going on in Maine or even Boothbay. I had to rely on what was said over 2 moths ago and with in 2 months a lot can change in the politics worlds. I also had to rely on the candidates website and peoples Facebook updates.
Doctors
After all this stuff I have been going through here in VA I have had to talk to a lot of doctors who don't know my long medical history. Back home I have doctors that remember me from when I was not even able to walk.
living in a house
What I mean by this is I have to walk down a hall to go to the bathroom and bring my keys with me. In order to get to the kitchen and dinning room (dinning hall) I have to walk across campus and up and down a hill just to get there not to mention the back to the dorm room so if there is a blizzard I might not be eating for a while.
A blog for my family and friend back home in Maine as I am attending Marymount University in Virginia.

Lets catch up!
I have been here for at least 10, along this way there has been some up and downs. I am going to get the down s over with first so the ups sound so much better.
Downs
Before I even left Maine my first down happened in the dark I slipped my wallet out and I thought I slipped back in to my bag in front of the air port. After trying to pull it out I realized i wasn't there. I traced my steps back to a security guard who asked if she had seen a wallet she had and she pulled it out of her pocket with none of money in it. Later my mom was told that in a security video they can see my wallet and the only person that touches my wallet is the security guard.
Slowly after being her I noticed my hands shacking, my heart racing, and that I was all ways tired. This went on for awhile after multiple taxi rides to the hospital rides to the hospital I was diagnosed with graves disease. It is common but hearing that I haven auto-immune disease scares me. The fact that I was all ways tired affected my school work.
