Lets catch up!

I have been here for at least 10,  along this way there has been some up and downs.    I am going to get the down s over with first so the ups sound so much better.

Downs

Before I even left Maine my first down happened in the dark I slipped my wallet out and I thought I slipped back in to my bag in front of the air port.  After trying to pull it out I realized i wasn't there.  I traced my steps back to a security guard who asked if she had seen a wallet she had and she pulled it out of her pocket with none of money in it.  Later my mom was told that in a security video they can see my wallet and the only person that touches my wallet is the security guard.

Slowly after being her I noticed my hands shacking, my heart racing, and that I was all ways tired. This went on for awhile after multiple taxi rides to the hospital rides to the hospital I was diagnosed with graves disease.  It is common but hearing that I haven auto-immune disease scares me.  The fact that I was all ways tired affected my school work.

UPS

I have some really good professors.  My Writing prof had me read my first in class writing to the whole class, saying that I am a really good story teller.  I also have a really nice philosophy prof.  I had trouble getting my texts book in large print .  I finally received it the week of midterm.  Between the lack of book and my condition he has given my  unlimited extension.

I got my first sit down exam grade today.  I thought I had failed this exam, I ended up getting an 83 and he told me I probably could of gotten an A.  He also told me to stop being shy cause when he calls on me I always know my stuff.  My high school teachers back home had hard time keeping me quite.   He also told me that I know politics.  He also said that I have a politics thinking brain.

I also have a GREAT dorm room and room mate. My dorm is on the corner of the building so I have a HUGE room. Also the way campus is laid out my window next to my head of my bed is the window straight ahead when walking to my dorm building.  My room mate and I get along very well.

18 days until I can see my family :)
